(2020-2021)
I broke away from my past life and locked myself in a room to find my "purpose." I hated Instagram and the generation of content consumers. Trying to be digitally conscious, I created a series of self-portraits with a pinhole camera to find my own voice and meaning. The main idea that inspired me was that one must think through the process. During this very isolated and lonely period, I was getting to know myself. I thought that time would pass anyway, but I would gain the experience of transformation. Honestly, I never felt like I found myself. I'm probably not the first to go through self-observation and realize that searching for oneself is a rather slippery topic. We can create ourselves, but testing whether I am an artist or not, or whether this is my purpose or not, is nonsense. The point is to move in the direction you enjoy.
